อาจารย์สันติ ลอรัชวี มีพื้นฐานมาจากประสบการณ์การเป็นนักออกแบบและอาจารย์ด้านการออกแบบ นอกเหนือจากการทำงานการออกแบบ เขายังทำงานในสาขาทัศนศิลป์ ผลงานของเขามักเป็นการออกสำรวจระบบไวยกรณ์ของงานกราฟิกและตัวอักษร เขาปรับใช้หลักและตรรกะสื่อของการออกแบบกราฟิกเพื่อสร้างกระบวนการปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คน เวลา และพื้นที่ เขายังคงนิยมใช้สื่อและวิธีการที่ยังรู้สึกเชื่อมโยงจากพื้นฐานด้านการออกแบบกราฟิก โดยขยายขอบเขตการออกแบบไปไกลกว่าการเป็นเครื่องมือสื่อสาร หากเป็นการสร้างประสบการณ์ร่วมที่เกิดขึ้นจริง อาจารย์สันติ ลอรัชวี เป็นหนึ่งในผู้ก่อตั้ง แพรคทิเคิล ดีไซน์ สตูดิโอ สตูดิโอออกแบบสื่อสารที่มีผลงานและความเคลื่อนไหวต่อวงการออกแบบ เคยเป็นอุปนายกฝ่ายบริหารให้กับสมาคมนักออกแบบเรขศิลป์ไทย และได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เป็นนักออกแบบแห่งปี ประจำปี 2558 สาขาการออกแบบกราฟิก จากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรและกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ และนิตยสาร Wallpaer Thai Edition จนได้รับรางวัลศิลปินศิลปาธร สาขาศิลปะการออกแบบ ประจำปี 2568 จากสำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม นอกจากนี้ อาจารย์สันติ ลอรัชวี ยังมีผลงานคู่ขนานอื่นๆ อีกหลายบทบาท ได้แก่ การเป็นภัณฑรักษ์สาขาการออกแบบ เป็นผู้ริเริ่มจัดกิจกรรมทางการออกแบบหลายกิจกรรม และร่วมจัดนิทรรศการงานออกแบบมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และยังเป็นนักเขียนรับเชิญให้กับนิตยสารและสื่อออนไลน์ จนมีผลงานหนังสือที่ชื่อ “สันติวิธีที่ ๑” ที่รวบรวมแนวคิดและประสบการณ์ด้านการสอนและทำงานออกแบบ และแปลหนังสือ พอล แรนด์ บทสนทนากับนักเรียน อาจารย์สันติ ลอรัชวี ยังร่วมก่อตั้งโรงเรียนการออกแบบ PRACTICAL school of design ที่มีแนวคิดส่งเสริมให้คนทุกแบบได้ออกแบบ และยังคงทำงานออกแบบสื่อสารภายใต้ชื่อสตูดิโอ สันติวิธีออกแบบ ร่วมกับสุนัขคู่ใจของเขา

Santi Lawrachawee's background is rooted in his training as a designer and his experience as a design lecturer. Beyond his design practice, he also works in the field of visual arts. He applies the principles and logic of graphic communication to create interaction processes engaging people, time, and space. He prefers to utilize media and methods he feels strongly connected to his graphic design foundation, extending the boundaries of design beyond a mere communication tool to create tangible shared experiences. He is a co-founder of Practical Design Studio, a design studio known for its significant work and active role in the design scene. He previously served as the Executive Vice President of the Thai Graphic Designers Association (ThaiGa). He was selected as Designer of the Year for 2015 in the Graphic Design category by Silpakorn University, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, and Wallpaper Thai Edition magazine. Most recently, he was awarded the prestigious Silpathorn Award in the Design Arts category for 2025, awarded by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture. In addition to his design work, Santi is also a curator in the field of design, initiates various design events, and co-organizes numerous exhibitions. He is also a guest writer for magazines and online media. He is the author of “Santi’s Way #1” (Santivithee #1) which compiles his concepts and experiences in design education and professional practice, and he also translated the book "Paul Rand: Conversation with students". Santi also co-founded the PRACTICAL school of design, an educational platform with the concept of encouraging everyone to design. He continues his communication design work under the studio name SANTIvithee OKbab alongside his canine companion.
